SPECIALISED FILM EXHIBITION AND DISTRIBUTION: INTERNATIONAL CASE STUDIES (123p., 2001)

SUMMARY

KEA has been retained by the UK Film Council in association with Olsberg/SPI to conduct detailed case studies of public support to specialised exhibition and distribution in three European countries (France, Denmark and Spain) and in three non-European countries (Canada, Australia, South Africa). The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of different support structures in furthering cinema “ art et essai”. The results of this work aimed at informing a detailed review of specialised exhibition and distribution in the UK.
