We have advised on a range of issues related to the cultural and creative sectors:

 

STRATEGIC ADVICE


Local development



Developed for Nantes an INTERREG application with Eindhoven, Birmingham, Stuttgart, Aachen, Cardiff, Dublin and Huddersfield (CIDA). The project launched a network of cities aiming at developing the innovation potential of creative industries through cross-sectoral linkages.

Developed a strategy of local economic development based on cultural and creative industries for the Biscay region (Spain).



Competition and internal market policy



Advised a French SME in the energy sector.

Worked with music companies in a high profile media merger before the European Commission and the European Court of Justice.



Multilingualism and EU language policy



Provided strategic adivse on EU affairs to a European network to promote linguistic diversity in Europe, and minotiry and regional languages in particular.



Cultural and Audiovisual policy



A national public body in charge of Film policy, on its European strategy.

A rights management organisation in the audiovisual sector.


Sport policy


Advised a European sport association on sport media rights.



EU FUNDING

 Helped develop a national video-on-demand platform towards a pan-European perspective.

Development of ECCE Innovation, an Interreg project (4 million Euro) launching a network of European cities focusing on creative industries.

Raised 1.2 million Euro from EuropeAid for a film project to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights.

Designed Multilingual Early Language Transmission, a Comenius (Lifelong Learning Programme) project focussing on language transmission processes and supporting multilingualism at preschool level.

  EGEDA event at the European Parliament seminar "New potential, new opportunites, the way forward for the European Film Industry"

 ECSITE, European Network of Science Centres and museums, event at the European Parliament combining a 1 day conference and 2-day science exhibition. Title: Science Communicators advancing European knowledge society.

ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT

  Association management of a network of European film companies - EFCA (www.efcasite.org).
